Support Grain Bin Safety Week
Give now to help save lives. Rural firefighters are often the first and only line of defense when a farmer or other worker becomes helplessly trapped in grain. Unfortunately, many fire departments lack the necessary equipment and specialized rescue techniques for a successful grain bin rescue.
That’s why the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety (NECAS) partners annually with Nationwide for its Nominate Your Fire Department Contest (Jan 1 – Apr 30), held in conjunction with Grain Bin Safety Week.
Your financial donation will help us provide life-saving grain rescue tubes and hands-on rescue training to winning fire departments across the country. Training is conducted on a state-of-the-art grain entrapment simulator. The simulator is on a 20-foot trailer and able to hold approximately 110 bushels of grain, which makes the simulator the perfect training ground.
No donation is too small to make a difference. All cash donations, regardless of amount, will be accepted. To make a donation, click "Make a Gift" below. If you would prefer to make a donation via check, please make the check out to NECAS and mail it to:
